Harrier Harrison heads to the top of Let’s Run challenge...

Lots of Thirsk and Sowerby Harriers have been running together and supporting each other over the last week. Nearly sixty club members turned out for training last Monday despite the cold and fifty harriers took part in the monthly 2 mile time trial on Wednesday 18th February at the Sowerby Sports Village running track.

This is a really inclusive event with staggered starts to cater for different running speeds and lots of encouragement from the coaching team and helpers. Runners get to compete against their own average time each week and gain points for a league system for taking part and for beating their average.
